Come to the end of the road by Sue Hill

Sue was struggling to find a new subject to paint when she heard the song ‘Come to the end of the line” by the Traveling Wilburys.   She substituted the last word of the title to come up with this idea.  Here Sue has painted a lone hiker, who has walked for miles along tortuous hilly roads when she finds herself at the end of the line.   The road is curled up and beyond this is a drop off a cliff.    (Sue hopes it is not interpreted as a sign of depression.   For to be able to walk in beautiful scenery, amongst the wildflowers is surely a sign of hope.)

Sue has painted this scene in portrait format and the canvas is sealed in satin varnish and is signed on the back.   The painting is wired and ready to hang.
