This original acrylic painting is a simple depiction of two children digging a channel in the sand on a beach on a warm sunny day. Sue was inspired to paint this after a morning at the beach with a couple of her grandchildren. The children were content to play in the sand making a ditch and allowing the waves to wash in some sea water.
The painting is in a square format. Sue painted the surface red before sketching in the content using both a palette knife and brush. The sides are painted black, the back is wired and ready for hanging. It is signed on the back.
