Swamp Hens (mixed media) by Sue Hill.
Sue built up the surface of this canvas with moulding paste before gluing on patches of coloured tissue paper. She dried and sealed this, before adding acrylic paint and creating a horizontal landscape of swamp hens in a line.
Sue sealed this with satin varnish and painted the edges black. It is wired and signed on the back and is ready to hang.
