The Tree on the Hill
This small acrylic painting is in portrait format. The painting was inspired by a landscape Sue had seen in Namibia. Sue photographed the scene many years ago and has been interested in painting it for many years. She liked the play of dappled shade on the tree trunk and the shade thrown by the tree in contrast to the pale grasses seen in the middle distance. The tree stands on a kopje overlooking a flat plateau.
The sides are painted black and it is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back.
