This acrylic painting is in portrait format and depicts two young boys collecting sticks to float downstream.
The idea for this painting came from a photographic reference was used by Sue of two of her grandchildren enjoying a local Brisbane creek. The foliage around the creek was bright green contrasting with the reddish-brown of the water and the red cap one of the boys is wearing.
The painting is sealed with satin varnish and the sides are painted black. It is in a white floater frame and is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back.
