Sunday Funday

This is an original large acrylic painting of a sunny day at the bay. It is based on aspects of photos Sue took one Sunday when she was at Suttons beach with her daughter and grandsons. There was a Nippers (kid’s life-saving) carnival taking place and she was fascinated to watch children partaking in and enjoying this outdoor programme on beautiful sunny day. The sun was brilliant and the scene was ablaze with colour and movement. The kids compete in sprints, swimming, board paddling, wading and fund activities while learning beach skills. The painting is finished in universal varnish and it the sides are a deep blue black. It is wired and ready for hanging.
