Waterfall

This large square original canvas is painted in acrylics and the peaceful image derives from a selection of photographs taken at a waterfall in the Coromandel Valley, NZ, near a Karri forest, at the beginning of the year. At the centre of the painting is the waterfall. The pool of water is shadowed on the right and in the foreground by beautiful trees and is relaxing and restorative scene, giving us a connection to nature. The people sitting on foreground rocks are enjoying this shady tranquil spot.
