Upbeat

This original small mixed media painting is a playful creation of dense colours mainly in rectangular shapes which Sue developed slowly on this stretched canvas with acrylic paint. To this she glued on small shapes of paper and tissue paper and finished adding colour with oil paints. Sue felt it had a rhythmic feel to it so hence the title of the painting.
The painting is finished with a varnish and the deep sides are painted blue black and the painting is wired so that it can be hung either in landscape or portrait format.
It is signed on the back and is ready to hang.
