Tree Tunnel
Tree Tunnel by Sue Hill. This acrylic painting is of a path leading to the beach sheltered by a tunnel of banksia trees so typical of many sea paths on the east coast of Australia. The centre of the painting is occupied by a girl walking her dog on a leash with the sea in the distance. Sue was inspired to paint this scene after walking on a similar path in Forster NSW. She added the walking girl as a point of focus on the square canvas.
Sue began this painting on a lemon-yellow primed canvas. The sides are painted black and it is wired ready for hanging. It is signed on the back of the painting.
