Tranquil Shore

This acrylic scene of the moon over the ocean is inspired by some of the beautiful beaches along the east coast of Australia. It is painted on a surface prepared with tissue paper and medium to give the whole a rugged surface. The colours are soft and muted. The trees are bare and indicative of shore land vegetation where the salty sea winds are harsh.
