This square painting is in acrylic and shows two Australian butcherbirds birds at a water fountain with the reflection of one seen in the water. The bird bath was in a garden centre near a pathway and these birds are used to having people nearby. Sue painted in an impressionistic way, predominantly in greens and it is signed at the back and is wired and ready to hang. The sides are painted black. “As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life “ John Lubbock, collagist, Illustrator and Art Critic, 1957-2011
