The Beat Goes On, by Sue Hill

Sue began this canvas by dribbling acrylic inks down the white canvas from all four sides forming a coloured grid.   She filled these rectangular grids with acrylic paint  and from there decided to paint an outline the two main dancing figures, followed by the smaller background figures.    The lighting she painted with an Iridescent medium.  She has attempted to show a staccato-type rhythm by keeping the entire painting in a small patchy format.

Sue has sealed the canvas with a satin varnish and the edges have been painted black.   The painting is wired and ready to hang and is signed on the back.
