Street Scene

This original acrylic painting of a street scene is referenced from a photo Sue took from the top of a bus in Cork, Ireland on a tour of the city. The birds-eye perspective appealed to her and she selected various components to create this scene
The surface of the canvas was built up with paper and matt medium to give a varied and textural surface before painting the subject and the colour is heightened on what was a very dull overcast day.
