On the Bite by Sue Hill. The inspiration for this jetty scene came after a walk on the Shorncliffe jetty. Sue started this painting by initially painting the sea and sky and then worked on the jetty. The people fishing or walking on the jetty are from her imagination, her intention being to portray a sunny optimistic day. She outlined forms in black to make them stand out from the background.
Sue has painted the sides black and it is wired and ready for hanging. It is signed on the back.
