Marine Life by Sue Hill
Sue created this mixed media scene over an abstracted background. The background was covered in gauze, tissue paper and a few stencilled letters. Having studied this creation for a few days she decided to create this marine scene. She painted in the boat and waves and from the shapes left on the canvas, she created birds and sea creatures. Sue enhanced the colours with thin washes of paint and medium and the painting is finished in a matt varnish.
The sides are black in colour and it is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back of the painting.
