I’ve Looked at Clouds from both sides now ……………
This acrylic landscape is mostly about storm clouds over a field and industrial buildings. Sue was inspired to paint this scene from a photograph she took in Southern Spain years ago. However, the scene could be anywhere in the world. There is a gravelly area with weeds growing in patches and a dry grassy field beside it in the foreground. The sun is glowing on some distant buildings and the moody clouds are rolling in.
The painting is in landscape format and has many glazes; the sides are painted black. It is wired and ready to hang and it is signed on the back. The title derives from Joni Mitchell’s song:
From up and down and still somehow
It’s cloud illusions I recall
I really don’t know clouds at all…
