This acrylic painting derived from an abstract that Sue felt wasn’t working so she let rip with the paints and spattered free flow acrylic and shapes began to form in the shape of a galah in flight. This Australian cockatoo is widespread and colourful with its pink and grey plumage. A sense of the wings flapping comes from the broken lines over the bird.
Sue has sealed the painting with a matt varnish and painted the sides black. It is wired and ready for hanging. It is signed on the back.
