Desert echoes and ochres

This original acrylic painting can either be hung in landscape or portrait format. Sue painted this initially using cave or rock shapes and developed it from there. She enjoys the organic shapes and colours of the desert has created this flowing abstract painting.
The surface is slightly textured by using molding paste on the canvas and pushing in crinkled gladwrap to give texture to the surface. When this was dry, Sue began to paint.
She has painted the sides black. The painting is wired both ways so it can be viewed either way and it is ready to hang. It is signed on the back of the canvas.
