Sandy Slog by Sue Hill.
Sue has been meaning to paint this scene of people toiling up a sand dune for some time, having experienced the slog uphill on a sandy dune in northern Queensland and then sliding back downhill on a board. Sue has used colour and forms to lead the eye into the centre of the painting and upwards towards sky.
Sue has sealed the painting with a matt varnish and painted the edges black. She has signed the painting on the back and it is wired and ready to hang.
