Chess Mates
This original acrylic painting is a scene of two chess players on the street was inspired by a tiny photo Sue saw in a magazine. It reminded her of the times she had seen players in their courtyards and outside on the street in Europe. It is such a strategic board game and a great deal of concentration seems to be needed.
It is painted in landscape format with a limited palette of blues and yellows. The sides are painted black and it is signed on the back. It is wired and ready to hang.
